Wow! So sorry for the delay in posting. It's been a pretty hectic week with moving and getting ready for the half marathon on Sunday. I'll give you a quick update on T-Giving and moving and PROMISE to write a better blog next week :)
Thanksgiving was wonderful! We all ate over at Shelby and Burton's house, and everything was absolutely perfect. Trey's and my family met for the first time, and I think it went really well! Always a good thing when parents get along. Although both of our sets of parents are so nice and funny, and I had no doubt that they'd like each other. Black Friday, Sandy and I hit the town to go shopping. I got some great stuff for my new apartment. Sandy and I even tried on some Christian Louboutins that were to die for!
We didn't buy, of course, but here's to wishful thinking!
After shopping, we saw Morning Glory, which was adorablllle. I think we can all agree that Rachel McAdams is precious. Then we freshened up and had dinner at Taverna - one of my favorites in Dallas. My rents unfortunately left on Saturday afternoon, but I was so happy to be with them for Thanksgiving...especially since I started feeling a little homesick knowing all of my friends were in Tampa.
This week has been INSANE. I moved on Wednesday to my new apartment :) It is a little bit smaller than I remembered, but I am really excited about having my own space. I like it more and more every time I see it. Not to mention, the building is awesome. Very safe, nice pool and fitness center and the staff/concierge are all so nice and accommodating. It just needs a little bit of work...but I can't wait until it's completed! I'll post pics soon, I promise.
Other than that, I am running the White Rock Half Marathon in TWO days! Crazyyyyy. I'm kind of nervous, but hoping the adrenaline will get me through. Stacey gets in tonight at 7:45, and I can't wait to see that little bean! I'm going to try to go to yoga this afternoon to stretch myself out in preparation for the race. Woop woop! I'll write on Monday to let you know how it goes, but WISH ME LUCK!
