If you know me, you know I'm slightly obsessed with Lauren Conrad. Ever since Laguna Beach back in the dizay, I have loved the girl. AND, get this, we share the same birthday! February 1, 1986. Methinks we are destined to be friends. Anyway, her fall 2011 lookbook for LC by Lauren Conrad is out, and I just love all of these pieces! You can tell she has definitely transitioned from the California laidback effortless style to a more classy, polished and feminine look. And aren't you crazy about the black blazer above paired with that beautiful blush dress? Hot damn, so cute! LC by Lauren Conrad is available at Kohl's, making it very affordable for fashionistas galore. I can't wait to check these out in person!

seven wants
Continuing on with the 10 day "you" challenge...
7. A larger salary - yes, I realize that is very superficial of me to say, but Dallas is expensive :(
6. Kiddos - not now, just one day!
5. Another puppy for Bailey to play with...he gets lonely.
4. The economy to get better and more stable...who doesn't?
3. To get back into running shape - I just started training for my next half marathon last week, so I'm getting there!
2. To travel the world
1. To live happily ever after

movie reviews + eight fears
My weekend was very relaxing (for once!) AND I went to see two movies that I've been dying to see for weeks! The Help and Crazy Stupid Love. I read The Help this summer, and the book was phenomenal, and I LOVED the movie!! It was the closest book-made-into-a-movie that I think I've ever seen. I laughed, I cried, I smiled. All in all, pretty amazing. I'd suggest reading the book before seeing the movie, but if you aren't a reader, see the movie anyway. It's a feel-good movie AKA the best kind. I also reallllly enjoyed Crazy Stupid Love. I had doubts about this because it looked slightly depressing, but it was surprisingly great. I will say the first 30 minutes are depression central, and you're thinking "Is this going to get better or make me sad the whole time?" Well, let me tell you, it got better. And let me also tell you that I have a HUGE crush on Ryan Gosling. Yes, I did before circa The Notebook, but boy has he gotten sexy!!
Oh, hi...
Anyway, I highly recommend both of these flicks. Not too much else to report about the weekend...but very excited I have a short week AND an extra long weekend ahead! Hoping this week flies by....
Onto my fears...
8. The dark - I'm not afraid to admit it...pitch black is just scary, ok! My momma always said "nothing good happens at night."
7. Space - what exactly is out there!?
6. Plane crashes. I'm not afraid to fly, but I am convinced my way to die is via a plane crash. I seriously have the worst luck with flying.
5. The end of the world. Definitely not something that keeps me up at night, but the idea is pretty darn scary.
4. Losing my family and friends
3. Roaches. Read my 10 secrets post for more info so I don't have to get into it again. Grosse.
2. The devil/demons - just a really scary thought. I don't do well with horror movies...I saw Paranormal Activity 2 years ago and still have trouble sleeping some nights
1. Dying - well, technically I'm afraid of what happens after dying. Yes, I believe in Heaven but it still causes me a lot of anxiety when I start to really think about what happens after death.
