Happy Halloween friends! Candy corn is by far my favorite Halloween candy (aside from Reese's of course!) and I've definitely had my fair share of candy corn over this past month. Moreso than I'd like to admit haha. I celebrated Halloween on Friday night with good friends and great times - I was not very imaginative with my costume this year as we didn't have plans for the weekend until very late in the week. Therefore, I put together a cowgirl costume. Hey, I live in Texas so I already had all of the essentials...jean shorts, boots, suede vest (from my costume last year), and all I needed was a cowboy hat so pretty easy peasy for me. We lounged with Bailey Boy on Saturday and stayed in that night because I had to run 10 miles yesterday (woof). I am very proud of myself, although my leggies are tiiiiiired, and I definitely have been walking funny today. Luckily, I'm officially ready for my half-marathon next weekend! After you run 10 miles, what's 3 more, eh?
I don't live in a "trick-or-treating" community, so I won't have to worry about that tonight, but is it sad that I kind of wish I did? It's going to be so fun to hand out candy to little kiddos one day! For now, I'll stick to my apartment living and watch The Sing-Off..candy corn in hand.
How are you celebrating/did you celebrate Halloween this year?
