friday friday friday

i had a really emotionally rough day yesterday. i heard some very sad news about a best friend of mine that i'm still trying to wrap my head around. i thought about blogging to vent but really couldn't bring myself to do it since it's not my story to tell. and my blog is not a gossip tool. anyway, i'm feeling a lot better today and am leaving this one to God. a good friend told me yesterday "sometimes when bad things happen, we have to have faith that God has a plan for all of us and that things will be better in the end." i have to trust that this is true and God has a plan to fix this [thanks for the kind words, casey].

anywhoo, i am ecstatic that the week is over because it's definitely a week that needs to be behind me and done with! t and i are celebrating a good friend's birthday tomorrow at his family's ranch about 90 miles outside of dallas. believe it or not, i have never been to a texas ranch before! i am pretty stoked. i've heard such fun things so i have a lot to look forward to. it will be fun to get out of dallas and away from bailey for the night too. annnnnd this is really our last hoorah before the wedding. the next two weekends will be spent tying up loose ends and getting prepped for the big day! i know i've said it over and over, but i really cannot believe how quickly time has flown by. yowza!

the little things we do brought back fill-in-the-blank fridays and i am so excited! i have missed these little doo-dahs. without further adieu...

1. i am  a daughter, a sister, a friend, a fiance, an aunt, a little ocd, a talker and a lover of the little things in life 
2. i have always   had a love of animals. i often wonder why i didn't become a vet (or maybe a zookeeper?? too smelly...)
3. i hope to  one day make a living doing something i love...figuring out how to make money doing something i love will be the hard part!
4. i can   whistle really well, touch my tongue to my nose and watch endless amounts of movies
5. i dream of   being married (3 weeks!), traveling to europe with my hubs and settling down to have kiddos one day
6. the way to my heart is   through thoughtful surprises, quality time and fresh-out-of-the-oven cookies
7. i am passionate about  experiences - traveling, celebrating birthdays and anniversaries, spending time with family and friends, being in love , conquering your fears - these are all things that are important to me and big priorities in my life.
